As our Project Manager/Site Superintendent, you'll work directly with ownership and operations leadership to:


Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day field operations across residential and commercial remodels, restorations, and new home builds
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members
  • Create, maintain, and adjust project schedules using JobTread or similar software
  • Track budgets, labor, material orders, and change orders with precision
  • Oversee job site safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards
  • Maintain open communication with clients and manage expectations
  • Conduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and punch list completion
  • Assist with estimating, proposals, or job costing where applicable
  • Attend planning meetings and liaise with office staff and leadership
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues and deliver timely solutions
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure company values are lived out on-site

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of residential or light commercial construction experience (project management or superintendent roles)
  • Proven success managing high-end projects from foundation to finish
  • Strong understanding of project sequencing, code compliance, subcontractor coordination, and quality standards
  • Experience with JobTread, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, or similar platforms (required)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and mobile field tools
  • OSHA certification, PMP, or Construction Management degree (preferred but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, specs, and scopes of work
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites (within the Illinois region)
  • Respect for timelines, budgets, and clean, respectful job sites
  • High emotional intelligence and integrity; able to build rapport with trades and clients alike
